Clinicse is fully compliant with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023. We never sell your personal or medical information to third parties.
Information We Collect
Information You Provide
When you use Clinicse services — booking appointments, ordering medicines, requesting lab tests, or contacting support — we collect: full name, email address, phone number, date of birth, gender, residential address, medical history and health records (only when voluntarily shared), payment details (processed via PCI-DSS compliant third-party gateways), and any information submitted through our contact or feedback forms.
Information Collected Automatically
We automatically collect device identifiers (IP address, device type, OS), browser type and version, pages visited and features used, time and date of access, referring URLs, and approximate geolocation (city/state level) when you use our platform.
Information from Third Parties
With your consent, we may receive information from healthcare providers, diagnostic labs, pharmacies, and insurance partners to facilitate your care. We may also receive publicly available information to verify healthcare professionals listed on our platform.
How We Use Your Information
Service Delivery
To book appointments, process medicine orders, coordinate lab tests, dispatch ambulances, and facilitate teleconsultations.
Communications
To send appointment confirmations, reminders, prescription notifications, order updates, and customer support responses via SMS, email, or in-app notifications.
Platform Improvement
To analyze usage patterns, diagnose technical issues, conduct research, and improve the relevance of our health content and recommendations.
Legal & Safety
To comply with applicable Indian laws (IT Act 2000, DPDP Act 2023, HIPAA-equivalent standards), prevent fraud, resolve disputes, and enforce our Terms of Service.
Data Security
Technical Safeguards
All data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.3 and at rest using AES-256 encryption. Our infrastructure runs on ISO 27001-certified cloud providers within Indian data centres.
Access Controls
Access to personal health data is restricted to authorised personnel on a strict need-to-know basis. All access is logged and audited.
Incident Response
In the unlikely event of a data breach affecting your rights, we will notify you within 72 hours as required under the DPDP Act 2023.

Right to Access
You may request a summary of the personal data we hold about you at any time via your account settings or by contacting cc@clinicse.com.
Right to Correction
You may request correction of any inaccurate or incomplete personal data we hold.
Right to Erasure
You may request deletion of your account and associated data. We will comply within 30 days unless retention is required by law.
Right to Withdraw Consent
You may withdraw consent to data processing at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
Right to Grievance Redressal
If you believe your data rights have been violated, you may contact our Data Protection Officer at cc@clinicse.com or file a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India.
Data Retention
Active Accounts
We retain your data for as long as your Clinicse account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter.
Medical Records
Health records linked to completed consultations are retained for a minimum of 7 years as required under Indian medical regulations (MCI guidelines).
Deleted Accounts
Upon account deletion, personal data is purged within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or ongoing dispute resolution.
Children's Privacy
Age Restriction
Clinicse services are intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18 without verifiable parental consent.
Parental Consent
Where a minor's health services are managed by a parent or guardian through a family account, the consenting adult is responsible for supervising use and managing privacy settings.
Changes to This Policy
Notification of Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Significant changes will be communicated via in-app notification or email at least 14 days before they take effect.
Continued Use
Your continued use of Clinicse after the effective date of any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
